Politiko/Fashion Designer: VM Joy Belmonte launches clothing line
LINEA ETNIKA, the modern Filipiniana line of clothing my friend Looie and I started, designed this dress which we are calling the LENI dress because it is inspired by our VP. We'll give this one to her as a gift.

Joy Belmonte Teams Up With Lobregat Daughter For Dress Shop
My friend and biz partner Looie Lobregat, daughter of Cong Celso of Zamboanga City. Looie and I decided to set up a business making RTW modern Filipiniana dresses, which we both need for our jobs. Our brand is called Linea Etnika. What Looie is wearing is the Joy dress because it is inspired by me. The embroidery on the front is Yakan fabric handwoven in the Zamboanga region.
